Mediabaze.cz is a project of Center of Audiovisual Studies at FAMU focusing on the research, promotion and distribution of Czech audiovisual art. We deal with experimental film, video, performance, installations and other forms of the moving image in cinema halls, galleries and public spaces. We are interested in analogies, principles and creative tendencies across various social and artistic practices. The output of the mediabaze.cz project is gradually posted on this website and in the form of curated exhibitions and programs in cinemas, galleries and other venues.
